educator positions. I have headed schools for eighteen
years; serving as Founding Head of St. Francis Episcopal

of School at St. Stephen's Epsicopal School in Miami.
My career began as a classroom teacher and educational
director in schools in New York and the Greater Washington
D.C. area. I was the Middle School Assistant Principal
at the Sidewell Friends School in Washington, D.C. While
in the D.C. area in addition to heading St. Francis, I
was an educational consultant in two areas: building and
expanding educational programs and facilities; and working

of the Inter American Development Bank assistanting them
in finding appropriate placements for their children in
both public and private schools.
I am currently a Board Member of the Elementary School
Heads Association, a national and international association.
I have served as a Board Member of the Mid-Atllantic Episcopal

Falls Episocpal School. While in Miami I served on the
St. Albans Children Center Board.
As Head of St. James Episcopal School my vision is to
assure that the school stays on a steady course, building
upon the sure foundation of its mission, while meeting
new challenges. I am committed to making this program
one of "uncommon excellence" as this treasure
of a school becomes a "nationally recognized place
to teach and to learn".
I hold a M.Ed. in School Leadership from George Washington
University, Washington, D.C. and a B.S. in Education from
