"Mr. de" is a second generation Floridian and has worked in education for more than 40 years. Prior to joining the administrative team at St. James he served as President/CEO of the Bolles School, Jacksonville and as an independent school consultant. He has earned degrees from the College of William and Mary - Norfolk and the University of North Florida.

Julie Roth
Chaplain

Julie Roth is the lay Chaplain at Saint James Episcopal School.She received her B.A. from Stetson University in 1991 and taught kindergarten for five years.After the birth of her first child she became a stay at home mom.She and her husband Matt are a family of six with Will (9), Ben (8), Mary McKay (6), and Kate (4).Now that the children are of school-age Julie is eager to be back in the classroom sharing with each child the knowledge that they were created as a unique individual and are loved by God.

Mrs. Leek has a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. She has ten years teaching experience in PK4 through 2nd Grade. She was also the Director of Elementary School for St. James for four years. This is Mrs. Leek's eleventh year teaching at St. James.

Kevin O'Connell
Athletic Director

Mr. O'Connell holds a Masters of Science Degree in Education from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Education from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. O'Connell has fourteen years of education experience including administration, teaching, college advising and coaching. Mr. O'Connell has extensive experience directing after school programs and summer camps. He resides in St. Augustine, Florida with his wife Melissa, and their fourteen year old black lab named "Rebound".

Jose Taborda
Maintenance

Mr. Jose moved here with his family in 1999 from Colombia, South America. He was a Spanish Literature teaching degree at the University of Antioquia, and has taught at Guayacanes High School and Tesoro High School. We appreciate all his hard work.
